The Village

The Village is a rural retreat, surrounded by nature, a perfect getaway. Very quiet calm setting, fresh air and amazing starry skies. The main house has 4 large bedrooms all with ensuite toilet and shower. Spacious Dining area / Lounge and Fully equipped Kitchen.
Large bar(n), Multi use space / Games room / dining / lounge / Yoga etc, Great space for that retreat, celebration or party.

The Village is all about the outdoors, large gardens, countryside as far as you can see, valleys, mountains, rivers, lakes, waterfalls.
We have many outdoor spaces, tables, seating, dining, star gazing or just lounging and listening to nothing but nature. Summer activities – Road Cycling, Mountain Biking, Hiking, Retreats.
Winter activities – Skiing / Snowboarding adventures! come and discover our 5 local areas. Yes we have mountains (well volcanoes!) with cable cars and chairlifts! super friendly and cheap!

Being in France is all about the Wine & Cheese! and we love it! we have taken the time and lots of tasting! to source from excellent local wine makers who specialises in creating quaffable easy-drinking good quality wine and local farmers who produce the famous Saint Nectaire, Cantal cheese and the best Goats cheese (from our village) you will ever taste, we think hope you’ll it enjoy too!

The Village is located at 1040m on the Cézallier plateau, in the Massif Central volcanic mountain range of Central France.
The Cézallier high volcanic plateau of the Massif Central is located between the Monts du Cantal and the Monts-Dore, straddling the departments of Cantal and Puy-de-Dôme. The Cézallier cannot be described, you have to come and see it! These vast expanses of pastures are breathtakingly beautiful. Cross it on snowshoes or skis in winter, on foot, on horseback or by bike in summer, and you will only want to go back, provided you like nature, emptiness, calm and fresh air.
The Cézallier volcanic plateau – wild landscape, vastness, calm, nature, wide open green space, mountains, lakes, rivers, waterfalls, stars, salers cows, cheese, snow, harsh winters, warm summers, no traffic, no people! an escape!

Getting to us

The Village is located in Central France department Puy-de-Dome, one hour south of Clermont-Ferrand in the middle of nowhere!
40 minutes from the main motorway A71 / A75 North / Paris to South France / Spain . A perfect stop off on your way South and back North!
Train stations linking to Clermont and Paris are 40 mins.
One hour from Clermont-Ferrand airport. Three hours from Limoges, Lyon and Grenoble airports.
